The news from San Francisco that BART will soon extend to its international airport is certainly good (Dec. 2). But to the millions of Los Angeles International Airport utilizers it’s another painful reminder of the shameful, greedy, blind-sided behavior of our local leaders and transportation officials, who let the Green Line go “nowhere” instead of directly to the airport.
