Pre-Kindergarten Program Restored

In response to popular demand, the Huntington Beach City School District is reviving a pre-kindergarten program designed to prepare youngsters for school.
Trustees this week decided to reinstate the program at Moffett Elementary School next year. The district halted the program last year because it needed the classroom space for its class-size reduction efforts.
Children living within the district will be the first allowed to register. Those outside the district will be placed on a waiting list for any remaining openings.
