Airline Booster

This letter is regarding the letters “Cutting Commissions” (Oct. 19). I’ve experienced good and bad service from both travel agents and airlines representatives. However, when I decide to plan my vacation, I deal only with the airlines. I’ve never waited hours, nor have I ever had to play telephone tag with the airline. My European vacation was not a nightmare.
And if Bonnie Brown of American Airlines is overworked, I never knew it from her more than excellent help in making my reservations for two trips out of the U.S., finding flights that not only saved me money but were also time-saving.
