NEW YORK — A jetliner drove into part of a terminal at Newark International Airport Saturday, injuring two people aboard.
The Continental Airlines Boeing 727 was going from one airport area to another when it bumped into a jetway, officials said. The nose of the aircraft became lodged in the corridor, causing part of the plane to buckle.
It carried no passengers, but two crew members were treated at a hospital for head injuries, officials said. Their names and extent of injuries were not released.
The jetway was closed, but no flights were delayed. Officials were investigating the cause.
