Track and Field
Watts, from Huntington Beach High, was very busy last week. She scored 54 1/3 points and helped Golden West finish second behind San Diego Mesa in the Orange Empire Conference championships. Watts won the javelin with a throw of 113-6 and was second in the 100 and 400 hurdles and the high jump. She also ran the anchor leg as Golden West was second in the 1600 relay.

* Fullerton, sophomore. She pitched a five-hitter as Fullerton beat Cypress, 4-1, to earn a share of the conference title.
