About 400 Latino students who study full time at Rancho Santiago College and who have earned at least a “B” average will be honored today by a coalition of Latino organizations in Santa Ana.
Alex Valdez, a comedian and motivational speaker, will deliver the keynote address in a ceremony at Phillips Hall on campus, at 17th and Bristol streets. The event begins at 7 p.m., and the public is invited.
Valdez, a Santa Ana native, was featured on a public television special, “Look Who’s Laughing.”
