The 34-team Pump and Run Easter basketball tournament, which includes several players from the Valley and Ventura County areas, is today through Sunday at Cal State Dominguez Hills in Carson.
Among those expected to participate are Rafael Berumen, Brett Michel and Branduinn Fullove of Simi Valley High, Cayce Cook, Scott Long and J.J. Todd of Chaminade, Daniel Bobik of Newbury Park, Chris Williams of Notre Dame, Gilbert Arenas of Grant, Devin Montgomery of San Fernando and Jeremiah Turner of Sylmar.
Teams are made up of top underclassmen from California, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Utah, Florida, Tennessee and Missouri.
Games are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5.
