No rest for the olfactory organs this weekend. The 11th annual World of Food & Wine at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, beginning Friday at noon, sets the stage for a vertical tasting of Cabernets from Jordan; cooking demonstrations by guest chefs; a seminar pairing cigars and Cognacs; lunches and dinners showcasing French and Spanish cuisines, and foods from the Pacific Northwest. French chef Paul Bocuse will receive a lifetime achievement award at a Champagne brunch.
