Television ratings rose for Game 3, but the three-game average is the lowest since records began in 1959.
The Yankees’ 5-2 victory on Tuesday night got a 17.5 rating and 28 share on Fox, Nielsen Media Research reported Wednesday. That was up from a 14.0 rating for Game 2 on Monday--the lowest for a Series game since ratings records began--but down 13% from the 20.0 rating for the third game of last year’s Braves-Cleveland Indians Series on NBC.
