Test for High School Proficiency Offered

The opportunity to earn the equivalent of a high school diploma will be available to people 16 and older next month.
In Ventura, the three-hour California High School Proficiency Exam will be administered Nov. 16 at Camarillo’s Cowan Center at 5500 Airport Way.
Registration forms, sample questions and test site information can be obtained at public libraries as well as public and private high schools. The forms must be received no later than Nov. 6.
Those who prove they can perform at the level of an average second-semester senior in a California public high school will receive the equivalent of a diploma.
