Oxnard 48, Channel Islands 0--Desmond Davis rushed 17 times for 176 yards and three touchdowns as the No. 8 Oxnard (2-0-1) christened its new stadium with a victory.
Oxnard senior Bryan Spencer threw two touchdown passes to Ross Randolf and sophomore Jacob Rogers caught a 29-yard touchdown pass from backup quarterback Adrian Maciel. Channel Islands is 1-2.
