HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Hoo’s the Man for Chaminade

Steven Hoo rushed for 169 yards in 23 carries and scored four touchdowns to lead Chaminade High to a 32-7 victory over Poly in an intersectional game Friday night at Chaminade.
Chaminade led 12-7 at halftime, but Hoo scored on runs of six and 46 yards in the third quarter and added an eight-yard touchdown run in the fourth.
Matthew Markis added 67 yards rushing in eight carries as the Eagles rushed for 281 yards. Hoo scored on a seven-yard run in the first quarter.
Poly scored its only points with 27 seconds left in the second quarter on a four-yard pass from Vadim Valcu to wide receiver Terrance Brant. Poly was held to 62 total yards.
