Re the Aug. 4 letter “Mixing Politics With Religion”: Yes, Greg Laurie is an evangelist who does his ministry with his whole heart.
And no, he is not a political lobbyist.
I do not think the writer knows much about Laurie and his ministry.
Every year, a variety of speakers are invited to this great event and give a personal testimony about themselves, and how God has worked in their lives.
Just because Elizabeth Dole spoke at the Harvest Crusade at Anaheim Stadium does not mean that Laurie is trying to persuade people to vote a certain way.
