OXNARD — Authorities say two men in their mid-20s robbed an Oxnard jewelry store owner at gunpoint Friday, making off with an undetermined amount of jewelry.
The suspects are still at large.
The robbery occurred about 1 p.m. at the Unique Jewelry Store in the 300 block of South A Street, according to Officer Marvin Diwa.
The men held the owner at gunpoint and took “numerous amounts of jewelry,” Diwa said. One of the men held a revolver and the other a black semiautomatic handgun.
Police believe a third man may also be involved. The business owner said this third man was on the telephone outside the business just prior to the crime, according to Diwa.
