The Right’s Focus

* James Pinkerton (Column Right, July 25) makes a valid point that the right-to-life movement should broaden its base rather than focus narrowly on abortion. Yet, school vouchers have nothing to do with being pro-life. On the other hand, many wanted children die every year in this country from gunshot wounds. If the energies and talents within the pro-life organizations could help us keep guns out of the hands of unstable persons, we’d be assured that they are really pro-life and not just anti-abortion.
