Silent Film Benefit to Feature Comedies

Catalina Island Museum will hold its annual silent film benefit today at 2 p.m. at the Avalon Theatre, Casino Building, Catalina Island.
Three silent film comedy classics will be shown: “The Navigator,” starring Buster Keaton (1924); “The Rink,” starring Charlie Chaplin (1916); and “Modeling,” a Fleischer cartoon starring Koko the Clown (1923).
