The City Council has allocated $5,000 to continue the Youth Roller Hockey Program, sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club of Tustin, for another year.
Last year the council gave the club about $10,500 to purchase start-up supplies and liability insurance. The program was a success, officials said, with more than 175 young people between the ages of 5 and 12 participating.
The current grant will be used for new goals and resurfacing the gymnasium floor, among other expenses, city officials said.
