Moorpark’s Milburn Named All-Section

Tracey Milburn of Moorpark High, who averaged 16.6 points and 7.2 assists to lead the Musketeers to a 24-1 record and Frontier League championship, has been selected to the Southern Section Division III girls’ basketball team.
Second-team selections include Tina Milburn and Damaris Hinojosa of Moorpark, and Ashly Ritter and Stacey Phillips of Notre Dame.
Football
Former Cal State Northridge defensive backfield coach Leroy Irvin was sentenced to 60 days in jail and three years probation for allegedly battering his live-in girlfriend at their Reseda apartment.
Irvin, who played cornerback for the Los Angeles Rams from 1980 to 1989, is not part of the Northridge coaching staff for next season. Irvin coached at Northridge for three seasons.
Soccer
The L.A. Galaxy will hold an open workout and youth clinic Friday at Occidental College.
Melrose Place star Andrew Shue, who played at Dartmouth, is scheduled to make an appearance.
The Galaxy will begin its practice at 10 a.m. The clinic runs from 11 a.m. to noon.
