Jon Terry
SCHOOL: El Camino Real
SPORT: Soccer
YEAR: Freshman
SEASON AT A GLANCE: Terry, a forward with seven goals and four assists, has been the only freshman to start every game this season for the Conquistadores (11-8-3). “He’s big [6 feet, 160 pounds] and if he uses his strength and speed along with his skills he can take the ball past a lot of guys,” said El Camino Real Coach David Hussey, whose team finished fourth in the Northwest Valley Conference.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: After El Camino Real faced a 1-0 halftime deficit in last Friday’s first-round City Section playoff game at Palisades, Terry tied the game in the 55th minute. With the game in overtime he scored in the 93rd minute to seal a 3-1 victory.
