Moncada, from Saddleback High, made key contributions as Rancho Santiago won twice in the Southern California playoffs last week. He had three assists as Rancho Santiago beat Los Angeles Mission, 7-2, in overtime in the first round Tuesday. He then scored in overtime Saturday to help Rancho Santiago upset second-seeded Santa Barbara. With the victory, the Dons advanced to State tournament starting Saturday night against Fresno at East Los Angeles College.
