Also corn, cucumbers, peppers, tomatillos/tomatoes (except in low desert), Asian greens, leafy celery, chard, green onions (except in deserts), melons/watermelons (except in low desert and high mountains), okra (except in high mountains), peanuts (except in mountains).
COASTAL CLIMATES
Sow: Asian greens, beets, snap beans, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, celery, chard, salad greens, turnips.
Harvest: Broccoli, cabbage, pea shoots, potatoes, salad greens.
LOW DESERT
Sow: Common beans, cauliflower, cucumbers, melons, summer squash.
HIGH DESERT
Sow: Corn, cucumbers.

Sow: Beets, celery.
Plant: Potatoes.

(Below 6,000 feet)
Sow: All high mountain crops plus snap beans, broccoli, cabbage, chard, peas, spinach.
Harvest: All high mountain crops except broccoli.
