The scoop on where to read on a summer Sunday afternoon, or any other summer afternoon for that matter:
Burbank.
The city’s central library will continue its Sunday hours, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., through the summer.
Compare that with most of Los Angeles County; the proposed county budget released Monday would close up to 15 libraries and slash hours at others.
Burbank’s central library is open seven days a week.
