PLACENTIA — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a teen-ager with a history of mental problems who disappeared Saturday night with her 6-month-old baby, authorities said.
Chelsea Menna Christensen, 16, walked away at about 6:30 p.m. from a residence in the 400 block of Choctaw Place with the baby, said Placentia Police Lt. David Taylor.
He described Christensen as white, 5 feet 2, about 114 pounds with shoulder-length brown hair, brown eyes and a mole on her left cheek and throat, Taylor said.
Christensen is a resident of Ventura and was visiting family members and her child in the Placentia area.
Her condition prohibits her from having custody of the child, Taylor said.
