The Thousand Oaks High boys’ team has moved to second in the latest national rankings by The Harrier magazine and the Lancer girls are ninth.
Kingwood, Tex., which defeated Thousand Oaks in the Southwestern University Invitational on Oct. 1, is the top-ranked boys’ team.
The Lancer girls could drop in the next poll, however, as they were upset by Peninsula, 82-91, in the Division I race of the State championships at Woodward Park in Fresno on Saturday.
