Mater Dei-Los Alamitos Tickets Going Quickly

Mater Dei has sold 7,000 tickets for Friday’s Southern Section Division I semifinal game at Anaheim Stadium, according to Athletic Director Gary McKnight.

Jerry Halpin, Los Alamitos activities director, said the school had sold approximately 4,100 tickets as of Tuesday afternoon.

Tickets remain on sale at the school and at Anaheim Stadium.

McKnight said the game will remain at Anaheim Stadium no matter the weather. Stadium officials usually won’t allow for a game to be played in the rain on the same weekend of a Ram home game.

The Rams play the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. But McKnight said stadium officials agreed to waive the rain clause. As of Wednesday, no rain has been forecast for Friday.
