This is to reply to the Oct. 17 Platform “Should a Political Spouse’s Beliefs Be Considered When Voting?”
I am in no way responsible for the beliefs of my husband. My husband is in no way responsible for my beliefs.
It is fair to hold Rep. Michael Huffington responsible for his wife’s beliefs. She states she is a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. Do you have any proof to the contrary?
Should you be looking into her religion at all? Is there a religious test for political office, for the person running or for members of his family?
