Garfield 20, Roosevelt 6--Garfield won the East L.A. Classic despite star running back Eddie Soto’s physical problems coming into the Friday night game at East L.A. College.
Soto ran for 158 yards and two touchdowns in going over the 1,000-yard mark for the season.
