Simi Valley residents concerned about transit services for the disabled are being asked to apply for the city’s transit advisory committee.
In order to qualify, applicants must either be disabled or use the city’s Dial-A-Ride bus service.
The city is filling three vacancies on the five-member committee, which meets four times a year to review a range of transit service issues including policies, availability, accessibility, safety and training.
The application deadline is Friday. For more information, call Simi Valley Transit at 527-2441.
