Fluor Corp.: The company said it has set up a division to provide architectural, engineering and technology consulting services for semiconductor manufacturers. The move is part of an overall company restructuring, according to a Fluor spokeswoman. There are now about 32 different operating companies within Irvine-based Fluor, in addition to its 12 previously existing divisions.
The formation of the new company will not have an immediate effect on the 2,600 Fluor employees in Orange County, she said.
