An Orange County chapter of the Dance Resource Center of Greater Los Angeles has been formed to develop audiences and provide support for local dance professionals. Dance events in the county will be listed in the DRC’s bimonthly newsletter, and chapter organizers plan to offer performances and lecture-demonstrations in such easily accessible public places as parks where, as choreographer Deborah Brockus notes, “dance doesn’t normally exist.” Basic membership is $20 and includes the newsletter.
