Typhoon Seth Kills 2 in Taiwan

TAIPEI, Taiwan — Typhoon Seth, packing winds of up to 107 m.p.h., battered Taiwan on Sunday, killing two men. At least five people were missing.
The storm shut down airports and closed three highways.
A driver was killed Sunday after his car skidded into a rice paddy in Ilan in eastern Taiwan, police said.
Near the port of Taitung, a fisherman was killed Saturday after his boat capsized. Two others in the boat were reported missing. Three men who went fishing on a beach in eastern Taiwan also were reported missing Saturday.
