What do computers and pepper spray have in common?
You can learn to use both during Los Angeles Mission College’s Community Extension fall program, which features more than 160 workshops and seminars.
Beginning Oct. 15, most workshops will be held at Granada Hills High School, located at 10535 Zelzah Ave. in Granada Hills.
Offerings include courses in business opportunities, careers, computers, exercise, travel, foreign languages, music, performing arts, holiday decorations and other subjects.
Also scheduled are three pepper spray self-defense training and certification workshops conducted by an officer from the Los Angeles Police Department and an administration of justice instructor at Mission College.
A fall catalogue of classes can be obtained through the extension office, located in Veteran’s Memorial Park, 13000 Sayre St. in Sylmar. The phone number is (818) 364-7387.
