Astro Sciences Reports $291,622 Loss for Year

Astro Sciences Corp., the Chatsworth maker of devices that provide remote access to computer networks, reported a fiscal year-end loss of $291,622, contrasted with earnings of $1.16 million last year. Revenue for the fiscal year, which ended March 31, was $11.7 million, up 6% from $11 million a year earlier.
The company attributed the loss to increased costs of marketing and sales, and to research and development spending.
