ORANGE — A 62-year-old man was killed Tuesday after his car was hit by another vehicle, which police said may have run a red light at Cambridge Street and Katella Avenue.
Burley Ray Grisham of Orange died during surgery at UCI Medical Center in Orange, after firefighters cut through the wreckage of his car, Lt. Trey Sirks said.
Grisham was driving south on Cambridge Street just before 8 a.m. when he entered the Katella Avenue intersection on a green traffic signal, police said. His car was struck by a car driven by Paul Coe Farrier, 39, of Riverside, who was westbound on Katella, Sirks said.
Farrier was not cited, Sirks said, but traffic division officers are trying to determine whether his car ran a red light.
