SIMI VALLEY : Residents Invited to City Budget Hearing

Special meetings of the Simi Valley City Council will be held today and Thursday to review the city’s budget for the coming fiscal year.
Residents are invited to attend the meetings, which will be held at City Hall, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Department heads will review in detail several areas of the city’s preliminary $28.4-million budget.
Today’s meeting will cover the city’s Community Development Agency and Department of Environmental Services.
Thursday’s meeting will focus on the Sanitation and Waterworks districts and the Public Works Department.
Copies of the budget are available for review at City Hall and the Simi Valley Library, across from City Hall.
The fourth and final budget review meeting is scheduled for June 21.
