Body Found Hanging From School Swing

SAN JOSE — The body of a woman found dangling from a playground swing forced closure of an elementary school Tuesday.
Garbage collectors making their rounds before dawn found the body of the unidentified woman, who apparently hanged herself sometime during the night, according to Police Sgt. Louis Quezada.
Valle Vista School officials canceled classes “because they didn’t want to traumatize the children,” Quezada said. The school was scheduled to reopen today.
