Nissan Motor Co. Returns to Profit: Japan’s second-biggest car maker reported that it was back in the black for the fiscal year ended in March, but the company predicted that it will merely break even for fiscal 1995 as near-term business conditions remain tough. Nissan reported a current profit for its parent of $39.4 million for the year, contrasted with a loss of $252 million for the previous year. The company had a profit of $843 million for fiscal 1992. Heiichi Hamaoka, an executive managing director for Nissan, attributed the turnaround to cost cutting.
