About 75 people demonstrated outside the Georgia Dome because Atlanta police tried to sweep the homeless off the streets during Super Bowl week. The same tact was used by LAPD when the Pope visited Los Angeles in 1987. . . . About 100 protesters demonstrated against the the flying of the Georgia state flag outside the building. The flag contains the Confederate battle emblem. About 60 reporters left the press box during the national anthem in support of the flag protest.
