Nazi Concentration Camps

On behalf of our editorial staff I strongly object to the use of the phrase “Polish concentration camps” in “ ‘Schindler’s List’ Breaks the Jinx for Spielberg” (Jan. 24).
There never were any Polish concentration camps, only German concentration camps in occupied Poland. This is a critical distinction. This phrase not only is inaccurate but also offensive to the Poles and Americans of Polish heritage.
