The city is accepting applications from residents for two vacant positions on the Design Review Board, a five-member panel that studies the design of new projects that will have a major impact on the aesthetics of the city.
Applications are available at the Planning Division office on the third floor of Civic Center, 2000 Main St. They must be returned by Friday.
Applicants should have a background in development, architectural and structural design.
The Design Review Board makes final decisions on the design of some projects and makes recommendations to the Planning Commission and City Council on others.
City Councilman Victor Leipzig and Planning Commissioner Philip Inglee also serve on the Design Review Board.
