PASADENA : Caltech Signs New Contract to Manage JPL for NASA

Caltech has signed a five-year contract to continue managing the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for NASA, it was announced this week.
Considered the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s leading center for space exploration, JPL managed the Galileo space mission to Jupiter and the Magellan mission to Venus. Caltech has managed JPL since NASA’s inception in 1958.
