Santa Clara 57, Laguna Beach 44--Ian McDonald scored 18 points for Laguna Beach in a quarterfinal loss. Santa Clara will play Long Beach Wilson in one semifinal.
Mater Dei 71, Laguna Hills 44--Miles Simon scored 18 points, including four three-pointers, and Shaun Jackson scored 17 points for Mater Dei (12-0), the top-ranked team in the county.
Orange 55, Tustin 48--Gil Gonzales scored 15 points and Jason Krauss scored 13 to lead Orange (10-1), which plays Mater Dei in a semifinal game. Doug Gottlieb had 17 for Tustin (6-4).
In the Canyon tournament:
Magnolia 64, El Modena 48--Frank Henderson scored 19 points for Magnolia (9-3), which will play in one semifinal.
Pacifica 81, El Dorado 55--Chris Vlasic scored 21 points, to lead Pacifica (7-1) in the quarterfinals. Pacifica will face Magnolia in the semifinals at 7 p.m. today.
Saddleback 68, Bolsa Grande 62--Chris Bradshaw scored 30 points for Saddleback (5-4). Brian Stewart had 18 points for Bolsa Grande (4-4).
In the Carl’s Jr. tournament:
Santiago 49, Cypress 45--Henry Johnson scored 19 points and Pablo Martinez added 12 to lead Santiago, which advanced to play Los Amigos in the semifinals.
Los Amigos 51, Brethren Christian 45--Chris Yu scored 14 points and Jason Weiss added 13 to lead Los Amigos (3-6) in the quarterfinals.
Century 66, Garden Grove 51--Thomas Harmon scored 23 points for Century (11-2). Tim Denk had 18 points for Garden Grove (3-5).
Sonora 55, Villa Park 38--Chris Clark scored 19 points for Sonora, which will play Century in the semifinals.
In the Coast Holiday Classic:
Edison 61, Corona del Mar 50--Micah Kroeger scored 19 points for Edison, and Ramin Bastani had a game-high 20 points for Corona del Mar.
Huntington Beach 64, Irvine 40--Tony Gonzalez scored 21 points for Huntington Beach (4-6).
In the Katella Classic:
Savanna 63, Beverly Hills 40--Jermaine Moore scored 21 points, all three-pointers, for Savanna in a first-round victory.
In the Lompoc tournament:
Servite 53, Lompoc Cabrillo 47--David Downs had 15 points and eight rebounds and Mark Seaton added 10 points and 11 rebounds for Servite (6-4) in a semifinal victory.
In the La Verne Lutheran tournament:
St. Michael’s Prep 48, South Gate Southeast Lutheran 39--Gabriel Trebels paced St. Michael’s Prep with 20 points and 24 rebounds.
In the St. Francis Holiday tournament:
University 93, Palo Alto 75--Demitrius Zeigler scored 33 points, including five three-pointers, and 10 rebounds and Dustin White scored 26 points including four three-pointers for University.
