ADL Spying Case
The news that the San Francisco district attorney has agreed not to prosecute the Anti-Defamation League for illegal spying on American citizens (Nov. 16) strikes a blow to the American way.
While the ADL has been known for decades as a defender of rights for Jews and others, now, when it’s caught violating the civil rights of literally thousands of Americans, it pulls its many political strings to escape responsibility.
Our sympathies go to the American people at this non-carriage of justice--and to the many ADL members and supporters who had no idea that the ADL was engaging in such unethical practices.
