Detectives from three agencies are investigating the deaths of four women, all in their 30s, whose bodies were found over a three-week period this month dumped in the San Gabriel Valley and in nearby Chino in San Bernardino County.
So far, no evidence links the slayings, even though all the bodies were of black women and found in business parks, said Los Angeles County sheriff’s homicide Lt. William Sieber.
The slain women were identified as Betty Sue Harris, 37, of Pomona, found early Nov. 1 in Diamond Bar; Roxanne Bates, 31, of Pomona, found Nov. 5 in Chino; Helen Ruth Hill, 36, of West Covina, found Sunday in the City of Industry, and Donna Goldsmith, 35, of Montclair, found Wednesday in Pomona.
