Astro Sciences, Novell Enter Partnership Deal

Astro Sciences Corp., a Chatsworth maker of computer-communications products, said it has signed a partnership agreement with software maker Novell Inc.
Astro Sciences’ J&L; Information Systems Division makes hardware for local area networks, which enable personal computers to be interconnected by cable. Under the agreement, J&L; will bundle Novell products with its hardware, providing customers with a more complete system to install and manage such networks. Financial details of the agreement were not released.
