Burroughs 31, Burbank 6--Ed Melgar carried 17 times for 121 yards and three touchdowns to lead host Burroughs (5-5, 2-2) to a playoff berth.
Jimmy Thompson rushed five times for 57 yards, including a 39-yard touchdown for Burroughs. Burbank (2-8, 0-4) scored in the fourth quarter on a 55-yard pass play from Brian Casey to Carlos Baker.
Burroughs recorded five sacks, two by junior lineman Doug Miranda.
