Glendale 49, Hoover 7--Neal Sowter scored three touchdowns to lead host Glendale (6-4, 2-3) and force a three-way tie for third place with Arcadia and Pasadena. A coin toss today will determine which team qualifies for the playoffs.
Alan Lau was 19 of 39 for 256 yards for Hoover (0-10, 0-5).
