O’Laughlin Out for Northridge

Cal State Northridge will be without quarterback J.J. O’Laughlin in its American West Conference football game against Cal Poly San Luis Obispo at Mustang Stadium tonight at 7.
O’Laughlin injured his right shoulder when he was hit after throwing a pass last week in a nonconference game against Chico State. Clayton Millis, a sophomore transfer from the University of Oregon, will replace O’Laughlin. Millis has completed 12 of 34 passes for 76 yards with two interceptions.
Tailback Robert Trice is expected to play despite an injured big left toe and sprained right ankle. He has run for 1,023 yards and seven touchdowns in 178 carries for Northridge (3-5, 0-2), which is trying to avoid its second losing season in eight years.
Quarterback Mike Fisher, a Santa Clara transfer, leads San Luis Obispo (5-3, 1-2). He has completed 121 of 231 passes for 1,696 yards and 18 touchdowns with seven interceptions.
