Big Plays Key to Southwest’s Win

Santa Barbara 20, Harbor 14--The Seahawks outgained the Vaqueros, 451 yards to 291, but could not overcome a 17-0 deficit after three quarters.

Shayzar Hawkins gained 178 yards in 32 carries to lead Harbor (3-4, 1-1 in the Western State Conference Northern Division). The Seahawks also limited Santa Barbara (2-4, 0-1) quarterback Jarrod DeGeorgia, the conference’s total offense leader, to 14 of 37 passing for 200 yards and an interception.
