FULLERTON — Four suspects were arrested and stolen truck cargo that included television sets, hardwood flooring and teddy bears was recovered when a strike force of officers from several local law enforcement agencies raided two addresses in Fullerton on Thursday, officials said.
The officers--acting on search warrants obtained after they received a tip from the FBI--conducted the raids in the 100 block of East Walnut Avenue and in the 500 block of Valencia Drive, spokesmen for the multi-agency Cargo Criminal Apprehension Team said.
The four suspects, arrested without incident at the Walnut Avenue address, were later booked on suspicion of possession of stolen property. The suspects were not immediately identified.
Officers said stolen cargo found at the Walnut Avenue address included television sets and videocassette recorders taken during an armed hijacking of a truck in Los Angeles on Tuesday and teddy bears stolen from a truck yard in San Pedro earlier this month.
Stolen goods found at the Valencia Drive address included coffee beans, pasta and wooden flooring.
